Okay all, the official launch of SlightlyConfusedNet is Christmas, 2009! This date is by no means set in stone, but from my point of view it's the most realistic. It gives both the admin and the nerds time to fiddle and the artists, critics and authors will finally get some time to simply create without the pressure of putting it up on the web.
Should there be any changes I'll make sure to post them here and keep everyone updated, but otherwise it's all closing down until the summer.

SlightlyConfusedNet is drawing ever closer to it's official launch. Sure, we've been here since 2007 with bits of everything to offer, but now, at last, the beginning is nearing. As we swerve into the arduous task of forcing the resident artist to draw until her hands bleed the rest of us will be occupied with site maintenance and morale. The nerd will unfortunately be taking down all active pages for an uncertain amount of time, but rest assured, we will be back before you know it!
When the site returns online (Launch date will be posted next week) there will be mostly subtle but still note-worthy changes, such as the big revealing of our shiny new comic and the raving reviewer blog (...maybe...).
Now, I know my fellow nerd-workers are wondering why I'm being so formal with this information, but they obviously haven't been checking out the statistics curve for this month!
From Today (Monday) All links will be officially broken except the one to this nifty fake-index to amuse the obviously adoring fans.
